Ready to look up? The Flight School is calling.
Announcing our new website and Fellowship application.
Dear Friends,
Something magical is stirring.
Last spring, we launched The Flight School with a clear vision: to help the rising generation step off the treadmill of expectations and onto a path of purpose.
What began as our shared intuition is now taking flight. Our founding Fellows – extraordinary humans from 16 countries – are showing us what's possible when we pause long enough to ask life's deeper questions. From North Carolina to Niger, they're exploring what won't appear on any syllabus or final exam:
Who am I beyond my achievements?
What questions animate me?
Where do my gifts meet the world's needs?
Today, we're thrilled to share two pieces of news:
Our new website brings to life our vision of an education higher than higher ed. Discover why we're here, where we're heading, and meet the remarkable faculty and guides joining us on this journey.
Applications are now open for our next cohort of Fellows — and our early decision deadline is March 15. We're seeking high school seniors worldwide who are:
✨ Insatiably curious & ambitious on their own terms
✨ Searching for meaning beyond traditional metrics of success
✨ Ready to find their people, their power, and their purpose
Below, you'll find personal messages from each of us about why this moment matters, and how you can join us.
With fierce optimism — and deep gratitude,
Abby & Chalon

What the world needs now more than ever.
While searching for programs like this, I came across this fellowship—and I’m incredibly grateful I did. As a FGLI student from rural India, I’ve applied for the fellowship and truly hope to be selected.
More than anything, I’m just thankful to have discovered you and this Substack. There’s so much to learn here, and it’s already been deeply inspiring.
